Join Culture Chats BC Association (www.culturechats.org) for a free author reading and discussion by Miriam Matejova, editor of Wherever I Find Myself, an anthology of twenty four Canadian immigrant women's writings. Burnaby Village Museum
6501 Deer Lake Ave, Burnaby

Coast Salish educator, Starla Bob (Kushi opi mani wi), of the Cowichan Tribes with ties to the Snuneymuxw First Nation peoples, shares her knowledge of how native plants have long been used in Aboriginal health and healing practices while touring the Deer Lake area.

This tour is one of eight events in the Burnaby Neighbourhood Histories Series. Presented in partnership by the Burnaby Village Museum, the Burnaby Public Library, and the Burnaby Historical Society.
