Come and make art at the library ... with the Burnaby Art Gallery! Tap into your imagination and get your mind humming with family-friendly art projects inspired by the art gallery's current exhibit at the Metrotown Branch. Free. Please drop in at one of these times: 1:00, 1:30, 2:00, 2:30, 3:00, or 3:30.

Join us on Sunday, February 10 for another art program for ages 7 and up.

Come check out coding games with Osmo - an iPad compatible game that uses manipulatives to practice blocking coding skills.

All kids, please bring an adult who will participate.

Burnaby Art Gallery staff are coming to the library to lead kids in a craft inspired by the gallery’s current library exhibit at McGill called How's the Weather.

No registration is required. Come early - space is limited. Caregivers must attend with children.

Calling all builders! Kids ages 5 to 12 are invited to drop in anytime between 2:00pm and 4:00pm to play with the library's extensive LEGO collection.Moms and dads can join the fun too!

Caregivers are required to accompany children under 10. Drop-in. No registration required.

3:00 pm to 4:30 pm

Celebrate Family Literacy Week in the library by making cool mini books, bookmarks, and storytelling dice! Use the dice to help you imagine stories to write in your new book. A collection of great books will also be available to read and check out.

Ages 5 to 12. Program is drop In. No registration required. Please arrive before 2:30. All kids under 10 need to bring an adult who will participate.
