Learn to make Star-wars themed origami, join in the Star Wars storytimes, take a picture in costume at the photo booth, program Sphero robots, find the scavenger hunt clues, and watch a Star Wars movie. 10 - 4 Star Wars Photo Booth and Scavenger Hunt. Get your picture taken in Star Wars costume with an alien musician from the Cantina Band, then look for Star Wars clues. Drop in. Lobby and Library.

Star Wars OrigamiCome celebrate Star Wars Day (May the 4th Be With You) and the Burnaby Festival of Learning by learning to make Star Wars Origami. This session will be repeated at 10:30 am. The workshop will be held in the Cameron Recreation Centre's Cedar Room.

Aiko Matsushiba has been certified by the Nippon Origami Association as an origami instructor and will be leading this session. She has held workshops at various community and resources centres as well as cultural events throughout the Lower Mainland.

Sphero RobotLearn the basics of programming a Sphero, a small spherical robot toy controlled by an app. Make it roll around, change colours and navigate through a maze.

Adults must attend the program with children younger than 10.
