Star Wars Day at Cameron

Celebrate Star Wars Day and the Burnaby Festival of Learning with special family activities all day long. Learn to make Star-wars themed origami, join in the Star Wars storytimes, take a picture in costume at the photo booth, program Sphero robots, find the scavenger hunt clues, and watch a Star Wars movie. 9:15-10:15 Learn to make Star Wars Origami. Ages 6 through adult, registration required. Cedar Room.

10 - 4 Star Wars Photo Booth and Scavenger Hunt. Get your picture taken in Star Wars costume with an alien musician from the Cantina Band, then look for Star Wars clues. Drop in. Lobby and Library.

10:15-11 Star Wars Man in the Moon. Storytime for babies and toddlers with their male caregivers. Drop in. Library.

10:30-11:30 Learn to make Star Wars Origami. Ages 6 through adult, registration required. Cedar Room.

11:30-12 Star Wars Family Craft: Light Sabers. Ages 4 through adult. Drop in. Library.

12:30-1:30 Techplay with Spheros: learn to program a round robot! Ages 7-12, registration required. Juniper Room.

2:00-4:30 Movie screening: Star Wars: The Last Jedi. Rated PG-13, recommended for ages 10+. 152 min. Drop in. Juniper Room.
