At least 1 in 3 women and 1 in 5 men will suffer from an osteoporotic fracture during their lifetime. Osteoporosis Canada, a registered charity, is the only national organization serving people who have or are at risk for, osteoporosis. The organization works to educate, empower and support individuals and communities in the risk-reduction and treatment of osteoporosis.

Reducing the risk of osteoporosis is a lifetime process.  It is never too early (or too late) to start taking care of our bones.

A volunteer with Osteoporosis Canada will assist you to learn what osteoporosis is. Find out whether you are at risk, how it is diagnosed and the role of exercise and nutrition (calcium, vitamin D and protein) in managing and reducing the risk of osteoporosis.

Seating is limited and registration is required. Please register online or in-person at any branch. For more information, call 604-436-5400.
