This class will teach you about the threats and risks to online security and how to keep your information safe when using the Internet. We will cover topics like using social media security settings, shopping online without putting your information at risk, and identifying phishing emails. Not sure what “phishing” means? We will also cover the terms and concepts you need to know to discuss online security. Whether you have lots of experience with using computers or you are just beginning to learn, this workshop will provide you with the information you need to keep yourself safe online.
