Burnaby All Candidates Meeting

Burnaby Inter-Agency Council is inviting all those who live, work, study and play in Burnaby to come hear from candidates who are running in the federal election.

The theme of the evening is: "How can we make Burnaby a community for all residents, including those who are most vulnerable?" ​There will be an opportunity for audience members to submit questions and to speak directly with candidates.

Candidates from the major parties in all three Burnaby ridings have been invited to attend. As of Thursday, October 3, the following candidates have confirmed their attendance:

  • Neelam Brar, Liberal Party of Canada, Burnaby South
  • Rocky Dong, People's Party of Canada, Burnaby North-Seymour
  • Amita Kuttner, Green Party of Canada, Burnaby North-Seymour
  • Al Rawdah, People's Party of Canada, Burnaby South
  • Svend Robinson, New Democratic Party, Burnaby North-Seymour
  • Brennan Wauters, Green Party of Canada, Burnaby South

Candidate meet and greet from 6:30 pm on, debate from 7 pm to 8 pm.

The meeting will be held at the gymnasium of Maywood Community School, 2567 Imperial St. 

All are welcome! The space is wheelchair accessible. RSVP is optional.
