Get Into Character Video Contest Winner

Chiling Chiu, Lily Takeuchi and Erik Tayag have won BPL’s Get Into Character Contest for their short video book trailer promoting The Hunger Games by Suzanne Collin, the first title in the Hunger Games Trilogy.

Chiling, Lily and Erik's video was entered in The Battle of the Best Book Trailer, a contest with other libraries in the Lower Mainland. The winning entry, from Surrey, was a trailer promoting Carrie Ryan's The Dead-Tossed Waves.

This contest invited 13- to 19-year-olds to create a video of three minutes or less to promote their favourite book. Six entries were received in Burnaby. Thank you to everyone who participated!
