Flu preparedness & BPL

It seems like everywhere we turn today, someone is talking about flu preparations for this fall season. The best defence against the spread of germs is to wash your hands thoroughly and regularly. Burnaby Public Library has taken the added step of arranging for hand sanitizer stations throughout the library, and continues to monitor the effectiveness of cleaning practices and products.

H1N1 flu virus information from the Government of Canada. Includes information on symptoms, vaccines and antivirals, with specific information for familes and caregivers, pregnant and breastfeeding women, and other groups.
