The library is located just west of Metrotown skytrain station. Take the Millennium or Expo line, or take the 19, 49, 106, 110, 112, 116, 129, 130, 144, 430, C6 or C7 bus.

Parking is available underground. Enter off Kingsborough Street, just east of Willingdon.

The Bob Prittie Metrotown Branch opened in 1991 and is named for former Burnaby teacher, MP, alderman, mayor and library board member Robert "Bob" Prittie.

Wireless Internet access is available at all branches of the Burnaby Public Library. Bob Prittie Metrotown has 21 public Internet terminals, including three 15-minute express workstations. Three additional workstations are available for accessing the library's database collection.
