Ideas to try

• Point out words on posters and signs.
• Talk about signs and symbols. List of titles
• Read recipes, instructions and menus with your child.
• Make shopping lists together.
• Write party invitations with your child.
• Play easy board games such as Candy Land or Snakes and Ladders.
