BPL's Home Library Service was profiled in the Burnaby NewsLeader, May 5, 2011. This year marks Home Library Service's 40th anniversary. In this article, we meet several HLS patrons, including one who's been using the service for 30 years.

There's a Story at My Door
Home Library Service now has a theme song, "There's a Story at My Door," courtesy of a workshop with singer/songwriter Lowry Olafson. On Friday, April 29, 2011, Lowry worked with a group of Home Library Service staff, patrons and guests to write and perform a theme about the service. It was a great collaborative experience, enjoyed by everyone.
