How do I find books in other languages?

Burnaby Public Library has materials in a number of languages other than English. See below for the languages covered at each branch. These books are not always listed in our library catalogue. Call or visit a branch for more information.

Bulgarian

A small collection of uncatalogued materials (fewer than 50 titles) is available at Tommy Douglas.

Chinese

Adult and children's materials, both catalogued and uncatalogued, are available at all four branches.

French

Catalogued materials for adults are available at McGill and at Tommy Douglas. Materials for children, both catalogued and uncatalogued, are available at all four branches.

Gujarati

Uncatalogued materials for adults are available at Bob Prittie Metrotown.

Italian

Uncatalogued materials for adults are available at McGill.

Japanese

Uncatalogued materials for adults are available at Tommy Douglas.

Korean

Catalogued and uncatalogued materials for adults are available at Cameron and at Bob Prittie Metrotown. Catalogued and uncatalogued materials for children are available at all four branches.

Persian

A small collection of catalogued materials (about 150 titles) for adults is available at McGill and at Tommy Douglas.

Punjabi
