Burnaby Festival of Learning

Help your child learn early literacy skills with storytime. Children's librarians model and encourage skills such as rhyming, patterning, listening, taking turns, pronunciation, vocabulary enrichment and much more. Although early literacy is the focus, the program also supports other aspects of healthy child development and learning, such as self-regulation, fine and gross motor skills and community connectedness. Storytimes and BPL ...much more than a book or two!

Ages 3-6, caregivers must attend with children. Siblings welcome. This event is drop-in, no registration required, but please arrive early to avoid disappointment.  For more information, phone 604-299-8955, or visit us in person at any BPL information desk.

This is just one of our many Storytimes that is offered throughout the week at our branches.  For a complete listing of Storytimes, please visit the Storytime Event Listings.

This program is offered as part of the Burnaby Festival of Learning, a week-long celebration of learning presented by Simon Fraser University and the City of Burnaby, with participation by Burnaby Public Library and School District #41.  To see a complete directory of events throughout Burnaby, visit the Burnaby Festival of Learning website.
