Come and enjoy a couple of hours of knitting, crochet, stitch and chat with likeminded people. We are an informal, friendly group. Every is welcome – all ages and all skill levels. Bring your yarn and needles, scissors, and supplies and get started! A limited number of needles and yarn is available for those who want to give knitting/crocheting a try.
Tea will be provided. Feel free to bring cookies to share (optional). Knit2gether is a free event. Registration is not required. Starting January 15 - May 28.

Join a Deaf storyteller and a children's librarian for stories, rhymes, songs and crafts presented in both American Sign Language (ASL) and English. For children of all ages and abilities together with a parent or caregiver. Free – no registration required. ASL interpreters provided.

lego clubCalling all builders! Kids ages 5-12 are invited to drop in anytime between 3:30 and 5:30 to play with the library's extensive LEGO collection. Moms and dads can join the fun too! Caregivers are required to accompany children 10 and under. Drop-in. No registration required.

Children ages 6-12 are welcome to join us for informal chess games, facilitated by Curtis Lister of the Burnaby Junior Chess Club. This is a drop-in program and no registration is required, but space is limited. Parents of children under 10 years old are asked to remain in the Program Room.
