Join Burnaby author Linda DeMeulemeester for an evening of thrills and chills as she reads from Grim Hill: the Family Secret. This is the latest book in a series described as “Harry Potter meets Buffy the Vampire Slayer”.

Linda DeMeulemeester lives and teaches in Burnaby. She credits her grandmother, a natural storyteller who was born over a hundred years ago, for her love of mystery and suspense. The Secret of Grim Hill, DeMeulemeester’s debut novel, won the Ontario Library Association’s Silver Birch Award in 2008 and was named one of the Top Ten “Great Books of the Year” by the Canadian Toy Testing Council. It was also a nominee for the 2009-10 Red Cedar Book Award.
